Glennis Hall
Date of interview: Apr 16, 2014
Running two businesses can be difficult. Nobody knows this more than Glennis, who has a hand in the day-to-day running of both a retail store and Seal It Hydraulics & Engineering - a venture that provides integral parts and services to the maintenance of paint and printing machines. Therefore, having a streamlined small business accounting software employed was an essential to aid the success of the venture.
Finding Accomplish at an industry expo around five years ago, Glennis was instantly drawn to the CashManager stall by the impressive demonstration, which was clearly laid out and instantly made it easy to grasp the basics of the software.
"We took away all the information we needed and then we researched it over the next couple of weeks. We phoned other companies and got lots of information from them and then compared all the products before deciding on CashManager," said Glennis.
"We found it the best. we used to be with another company for at least ten years and it was extremely hard - the whole 10 years. But this has just been fantastic. With the other software, we had to get someone out each and every year to do a whole lot of journal entries and different adjustments - it was quite complicated.
"We don't have to go through that with CashManager. Having the option of having them come online with you, have a quick look at the problem for you and fix it within 10 minutes and you're all done - its just great."
This service was the main drawing card for the online version of the software for Glennis, who was looking for an easy-to-use product that could provide her with the aid she needed in the event something went wrong.
"I really like the idea of being able to go and for them to come online and help us if we had an issue - that was a number one factor for us. The second one was they quickly offered to set us up with a CashManager trial so we could have a play with it and see how we felt - experiment with it, putting things in and out and seeing how it all worked before we went ahead," said Glennis.
