You can't doubt Jean Finlayson's experience. With "70-odd years" of familiarity with farming, she's no stranger to the finer details of the industry.

It's a family business, with Jean's father-in-law initially "running the joint" before passing the venture on to the next generation. Farming is very much part of Jean's blood.

Dealing in livestock, specifically cattle, Jean needs to always have an eye on new challenges as well as meeting regular deadlines and balancing the books.

One way to keep on top of it all is to have intuitive business accounting software at her fingertips, to give her much more control when it comes to crunching the numbers.

Jean's had this control for some time now, having used Accomplish CashManager software for around 14 years. While she mentions dabbling in other software, one type stands out from the pack.

"I think Accomplish is much easier to use," Jean explains.

"We're able to do a cost analysis on everything. I've coded all the different areas of our farming business so we know exactly what's spent where. I'm able to work out stock weights, [from] the price they're brought in at to the price they sell [at]."

The ease of completing the monthly banking reconciliation is another plus, because it's just so simple to manage.

Furthermore, the ability of the software to seamlessly work with different business types is integral to its success.

Being aware of this, and as a firm product advocate, Jean keenly recommends Accomplish CashManager to others.

"I also play a lot of golf, and I've been on the golf board, and I've talked to them about buying it," she explains.

It was Jean's accountant that first recommended Accomplish to her, and it's clear that Jean is now intent on sowing the seed about this easy to use software.
