The CashManager software from Accomplish can be used in a number of different industries, with the flexibility to help all small businesses achieve financial success in the long run.
Take Collins Stainless Steel Fabrications, for example. With two firms across the country - one in Cambridge and one in Hamilton - the confusion of keeping the both cashflows steadily flowing could be potentially troublesome. Romoana Collins said she thinks there would be around 60 clients for each firm, with countless invoices being sent out on a monthly basis. Not to mention working closely with eight different departments within dairy giant Fonterra.
Before establishing the business, Romoana and her business partner were considering a number of accounting options to adopt. After speaking to their accountant, he set them up with a meeting to see CashManager in action.
"We were shown the trial and I just thought, 'Hey, I can handle this easy'. I didn't want something I felt uncomfortable with, and right from day one I found it was easy and simple to use," said Romoana.
She regularly makes use of a whole host of functions. Everything from invoicing and bank reconciliation through to the creation of reports on the business - especially data about suppliers and customers - which can all be used to help make the business more streamlined.
"They're just fabulous. The whole system is fabulous. They're always adding little bits, they're always sending information. They run little courses - which one day I will have time to go to! But they're always there for me; I couldn't wish for a better system."
After such a great experience with the software, Romoana has gone on to recommend it to a number of other people. Why?
"Because if I can use it quite comfortably, others can. People are saying why don't I change to a new accounting package, but I just won't. Because I feel so comfortable with CashManager. I've got the support and it does what I want."
