Grow them
One of the best ways to improve employee productivity is to provide them with room to grow and develop. By outlining the growth opportunities that are available to your staff, you will be showing them that they are a key member of the business.

Communication is the key to any strong and prosperous relationship. Wherever possible keep your staff in the loop, for all things good and bad. Committed and motivated employees will want to know what is happening with the business; what is working, what isn’t and what they can do to help.
If you require them to be honest and open, make sure you walk the talk. Show them how you want them to be open by being an open book to them, especially with issues that directly impact their roles.
Inspire them
Great leaders aren’t just people that lead from the front, they are individuals who have the ability to inspire others to reach heights they didn’t think possible.
As the leader, you need to effectively communicate where the company is going and how it’ll get there. To get the most out of your staff, you will need to inspire them to do better. Invite collaboration, introduce opportunities to work together in overcoming a problem, encourage risk-taking and being bold, and above all else strive for innovation!

Acknowledge performance
Recognising successful performances by your staff will go a long way toward creating a productive team. Celebrate accomplishments, highlight milestones and don’t dwell on failures.
Schedule regular feedback sessions with your staff. From here you will be able to showcase how the business is performing and show them how their work is contributing to the success of the business.
Establish goals
In order to harness your teams' productivity, create a roadmap that will guide their work. Design goals that will keep them accountable, whether it be towards their overall performance or on a specific project. Ideally, you don’t want to make these goals too hard or too easy, as that can counteract what you are trying to achieve. Setting testing but achievable goals for your team is a great way to boost their productivity.
Like most aspects of business, everything works together, everything is interconnected. Creating a more productive workforce is no different. Boosting productivity amongst your staff won’t be a result of implementing one or two of these strategies. To create the environment you desire, you will need to implement multiple, if not all, of these strategies.
