For accounting firms

Client bookkeeping workflows for accounting firms.

CashManager Cloud is client bookkeeping software for straightforward small-business accounts. Your firm can support clients who manage their own day-to-day records, or provide the bookkeeping and GST-preparation service for them. Either way, the firm keeps access to current accounts and reports.

Designed for practices in New Zealand and Australia working with straightforward small-business clients.

Two valid service models

Support the way your firm actually works.

Some clients do their own day-to-day bookkeeping and call on their accountant when needed. Other firms provide bookkeeping, reconciliation and GST services for their clients. CashManager Cloud is designed to support either client-service model for straightforward small-business books.

01

Client-led bookkeeping

The client uses CashManager Cloud for everyday transactions and reconciliation. Your firm can help when needed, review current reports and complete the year-end financial work in its usual system.

02

Firm-led bookkeeping

Your firm can deliver the bookkeeping service itself, including day-to-day transactions, reconciliation and GST preparation, involving the client when a question or decision needs their input.

03

Year-end accounts work

Use current CashManager Cloud records and reports as part of your year-end process, alongside the separate practice-management and annual-accounts software your firm uses for financial statements and related work.

When it may fit

A practical client-bookkeeping workflow for either service model.

Your clients do their own everyday bookkeeping, and your firm supports them as needed before year end.
Your firm provides bookkeeping, reconciliation and GST services for clients who prefer to outsource that work.
You want current client records and reporting access without repeated logins across an individual portfolio.
The client needs GST preparation, reporting and optional invoicing rather than payroll, complex inventory or broad workflow automation.
You value clear subscription options, a 30-day trial and direct support from the CashManager team.
A clear product boundary

CashManager Cloud is not accounting practice-management software.

It does not replace your firm’s practice-management, annual-accounts, tax, payroll, document-management or whole-firm workflow system. It is the client-bookkeeping layer that can help keep transactions, GST preparation and reports current before your firm undertakes its own professional and year-end work.

Two subscription paths

Choose the ownership model that works for your firm and client relationship.

The existing partner programme supports a practice conversation about the practical ownership model. The choice should be clear to both the firm and the client from the start.

Practice-owned option

The practice subscribes on behalf of the client.

This can suit a practice that wants to manage setup and ongoing visibility within its own client service. Partner pricing is discussed directly with CashManager rather than represented as a published public rate.

Client-owned option

The client subscribes independently.

This may suit a client who wants to hold the subscription directly while still giving the practice access to current records and reporting. Public base plans start at $20 per entity per month including GST in the relevant local currency.

Common questions

Client bookkeeping workflow FAQs.

Is CashManager Cloud accounting practice-management software?

No. CashManager Cloud is client bookkeeping software. It is not the practice-management or annual-accounts software that firms use for their own workflow and for preparing full year-end financial statements, notes, depreciation and related accounts work.

How can an accounting practice use CashManager Cloud?

A firm can use CashManager Cloud in two ways: clients can manage their own day-to-day records while the firm supports them and completes year-end work, or the firm can provide the day-to-day bookkeeping and GST preparation service for the client. In either case, the partner dashboard gives the firm access to client accounts and reports.

Can the firm do the day-to-day bookkeeping for a client?

Yes. Some firms provide a bookkeeping service and complete day-to-day transactions, reconciliation and GST preparation for their clients. Others support clients who do this work themselves. CashManager Cloud can support either approach, depending on the agreed client service model.

What bank-feed capability is currently available for practice clients?

EziFeed provides automatic transaction import across a wide range of New Zealand banks. Australian automatic bank feeds are coming soon, so firms should confirm the current workflow fit for Australian clients who require automatic feeds.

How does CashManager Cloud pricing work for practices?

Practices can discuss preferential partner options when subscribing on behalf of clients - register your interest below or call us. Clients can subscribe independently from the published base price. CashManager Cloud direct-to-client pricing starts at $20 per entity per month including GST in the relevant local currency, with a 30-day free trial available without a credit card.
