How it works

Automatic daily transaction import

EziFeed connects securely to your bank using read-only open banking technology. Once set up, your transactions appear in CashManager Cloud automatically each morning - ready to reconcile, categorise, and match against invoices.

1

Complete the sign-up form

Fill in your bank account details and submit the EziFeed sign-up form. Takes about 2 minutes.

2

Authorise the connection

For most banks, authorisation is instant via Akahu open banking. ASB and Westpac require a one-time step in your online banking portal.

3

Transactions import automatically

From the next business day, your transactions appear in CashManager Cloud each morning. No ongoing action required.

4

Reconcile with one click

CashManager Cloud matches imported transactions against your invoices and bills automatically, so reconciliation takes minutes, not hours.

New Zealand

Supported NZ banks and credit cards

Troubleshooting

Common bank feed issues

Most feed issues can be resolved in a few minutes. If none of the steps below help, call our support team - a real person answers every call.

Feed shows as disconnected

Re-authorise the connection from the Bank Feeds settings page in CashManager Cloud. This is usually needed after a password change or when your open banking consent has expired (typically every 90 days).

Transactions stopped importing

Check that your bank account is still active and that you haven't changed your online banking password recently. If everything looks correct, disconnect and reconnect the feed from settings.

Duplicate transactions appearing

This can happen if a manual CSV import was done at the same time as an active feed. Check your import history and delete any duplicate entries. Going forward, use only EziFeed - do not also import CSV files for the same account.

Missing transactions from before setup date

EziFeed imports transactions from the date the feed was connected. For historical transactions prior to that date, use a one-off CSV import from your online banking portal.

ASB or Westpac feed not activating

ASB and Westpac use direct feeds that require an additional authorisation step in your online banking portal. Check your email for an authorisation request, or log in to your online banking and look for a pending third-party access request.

Still stuck? Call our support team on 0800 707 111 (NZ freecall) or 1800 811 899 (AU freecall) - Mon–Fri, 8am–5pm NZST. A real person answers every call.

Frequently asked questions

Bank feeds FAQ

Is EziFeed secure?

Yes. EziFeed uses read-only access to your bank data - it can only import transactions and cannot initiate payments or transfers. NZ bank connections use Akahu, a regulated open banking provider. Your credentials are never stored by CashManager Cloud.

How far back does EziFeed import transactions?

EziFeed imports transactions from the date the feed was connected. For historical transactions prior to that date, use a one-off CSV import from your online banking portal. CashManager Cloud accepts standard bank CSV formats, while automatic EziFeed connections are currently available for supported New Zealand banks and Australian bank feeds are coming soon.

Can I connect multiple bank accounts?

Yes. You can connect as many bank accounts and credit cards as you need. Each account is set up separately through the EziFeed sign-up form. There is no limit on the number of connected accounts.

Does EziFeed support credit cards?

Yes. EziFeed supports credit cards from all major NZ banks as well as American Express. Credit card transactions are imported daily alongside your bank account transactions.

How often does EziFeed update?

Transactions are imported once per day, typically overnight. This means transactions from the previous business day are available in CashManager Cloud each morning.

What if my bank isn't listed?

Contact us at info@cashmanager.io and we will investigate adding your bank. We add new NZ banks regularly through the Akahu open banking platform.
